Hannessey Venom GT vs Koenigsegg Regera

Hannessey  Venom  GT   vs Koenigsegg Regera

Hannessey Venom GT

The Hennessey Venom GT is a two-seater, longitudinally-mounted mid-rear engine, rear-wheel drive, two-door super sports car produced by American manufacturer Hennessey Performance Engineering.  It was unveiled to the public on March 29, 2010.
Hennessey manufactures the engines at its Sealy, Texas, facility, which is shipped on cargo planes to the assembly plant near Silverstone, England, where it is built and tested.  The Venom GT buyer is given a one-day driving instruction and orientation by a Hennessey factory test driver on a track in the UK or US prior to delivery.
Hennessey planned to establish a Venom GT dealer network in the Middle East, Europe, Russia, Australia and Asia.  Production was limited to only 10 vehicles per year.

It is based on a severely modified Lotus Exige chassis, which is powered by a General Motors 427 cubic inch (7 liter) V8 90º LSX engine with twin turbocharging, borrowed from the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1.

On February 14, 2014, it set the world record for the world's fastest road car by reaching a verified top speed of 270.49 mph (435.31 km / h), at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral ( Florida).

Koenigsegg Regera

The Koenigsegg Regera is a limited edition plug-in electric hybrid super sports car, with longitudinally mounted mid-rear engine and rear wheel drive, produced by the Swedish super sports car manufacturer Koenigsegg since 2016.
Christian von Koenigsegg was especially impressed with the direct and intuitive experience provided by an electric car like the Tesla, noting that the instantaneous response of the engines was something that not even a Formula 1 car could achieve with a traditional internal combustion engine.
The 5032 cm³ (5 liter) 90º biturbo V8 engine made entirely of aluminum, has been developed internally by the company itself, which has active hydraulic supports and a carbon fiber intake manifold with optimized intake sections.

It has managed to accelerate from 0 to 400 km / h (249 mph) and come to a complete stop in just 31.49 seconds.  The test, held on 23 September 2019 on the airstrip of the Råda military base in Lidköping.

In conclusion, both cars are too fast, it is said that the Hannessey is faster and it is true but for me the Regera will always be the fastest since it only has a speed that makes it reach more than 400km, the Swedes have a unique design .  and americans produce good super and hyper cars
